J.J. is approximately 4-5 years old. When he was rescued from a high-kill shelter, J.J. was very thin, had no hair and did not do well in the shelter environment. J.J. has allergies that are now under control, but he needs to be on a specific food that is a bit more costly. J.J. is housebroken and has never had an accident in the house. J.J. has serious big dog issues. He tries to attack large dogs and puts himself in danger if his person is not watching out for him. J.J. learns to get along with other small dogs if he is introduced properly and supervised until he is comfortable. J.J. has a very minor grade one luxating patella issue. He is a calm, quiet and loving boy who enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. J.J. is crate trained, travels well and is friendly with strangers. He is nervous around small children and would do best in a quiet home with someone that wants a dog that will follow them everywhere. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms.
